"Birds of a Feather"
As a woman artist, I cannot avoid being confronted with this new landscape of moving images, sounds, and the latest infiltrator of massive information, the Internet. As a result, I am always searching to resolve my need to create a new vocabulary that expresses the ongoing trends of our new contemporary visual culture. Collage has been a means to an end in my process of gathering and constructing objects. “Collage” to artist Thomas Hirschhorn means “an interpretación.”
